The Nauticam WACP-1B is a 0.36x Wide Angle Conversion Port designed to transform a 28mm-equivalent lens into an exceptionally wide 130° field of view while maintaining impressive sharpness across the frame. Unlike traditional dome ports or wet-mate wide-angle optics, the WACP-1B is a dry, water-contact corrective optic that helps minimize corner softness and provides spectacular image quality for both underwater stills and video. The updated WACP-1B is smaller and lighter than the original WACP-1 and features an integrated buoyancy collar for easier handling underwater, along with an interchangeable port mount that supports both Nauticam N120 and N100 configurations. With its ability to work with compatible zoom lenses, the WACP-1B provides an exceptionally versatile solution for capturing everything from expansive reef scenes and large marine life to close-focus wide-angle compositions.
