EMWL: Elevating Underwater Imaging Capabilities

Nauticam is committed to designing the most advanced underwater imaging products available. The EMWL - Extended Macro Wide Lens - takes this innovation to the next level. The EMWL enables you to capture macro, wide-angle, and combine these styles to create images that were previously unattainable.

The EMWL is engineered to work seamlessly with a range of popular macro lenses, including 90mm, 100mm, and 105mm. It is optimized for both stills and video recording. Its wet mount design allows for easy attachment and removal underwater, enhancing the system’s versatility and compatibility with accessories such as the SMC macro converters. The EMWL is a modular design composed of three distinct components: the Focusing Unit, the Relay Module, and the Objective Lens. It can also be used without the Relay Module for a more compact setup, but this does require a monitor or reverse viewfinder to flip the image to the proper orientation. Nauticam has developed three distinct focusing units, each optimized to work with various camera manufacturers and their macro lenses. There are two Relay Modules available, a straight and an angled, and four objective lens options, providing unique perspectives for capturing stunning images. The EMWL can be attached with the Nauticam Bayonet mount system or with an EMWL flip holder that cradles the EMWL to the side when not in use.
