Matthew Sullivan is an underwater and wildlife photographer based in Florida. He leads group trips and workshops throughout the United States and internationally, sharing his passion for underwater photography and the natural world with photographers of all experience levels. Matthew also co-hosts The Underwater Photography Show with Dr. Alex Mustard, where they explore the techniques, creativity, and stories behind underwater photography.
With a particular fascination for weird fish, cephalopods, and other overlooked marine life, Matthew aims to bring attention to the underwater world’s less-heralded creatures. He affectionately calls these subjects “charismatic microfauna” and enjoys finding and photographing the unusual, often surprising animals that might otherwise go unnoticed.
