Massimo was born in Bologna in 1968 and always passionated by nature and above all by the sea , He loves travels and diversity between cultures.
Divemaster, He achieved his first scuba diving license in 1991 in Italy , but only in 2008, he’ve started photographing underwater, at first with a compact camera, and today with a Canon 5DmkIII in Nauticam housing. The underwater world has always fascinated him, and Massimo always do his best to show it at its best.
The marriage of his passions brought him to dive all around the world, from Egyptian and Sudanese Red Sea , to Indian and Pacific Ocean, Indonesia and Caribbean, and of course the Mediterranean Sea, especially the Ligurian and Adriatic Sea.
Starting from 2012, he started entering UW photography competitions, achieving different accolades in national contests, as Abissi Città di Venezia, Ortonamare, Neapolis, Divers for Africa, Oasis Photocontest, and at international contests as Anilao photocompetition and Ocean Art. From 2015 he is an active member of the IUPS – Italian Underwater Photography Society – editorial staff, trying to promote and protect the oceans through the underwater photography.
