Joanna Lentini is an award-winning freelance photographer and writer based in New York. Joanna produces stories related to conservation, outdoor adventure and wildlife photography. She has been awarded in several international photography competitions and was one of a few women awarded in the 52nd Wildlife Photographer of the Year photography competition. She is also the COO of the non-profit organization Oceans in Focus, which delivers ocean educational outreach programs to schoolchildren.
The great outdoors remains Joanna’s deepest passion, and her work both topside and underwater has taken her face to face with some of the planet’s most incredible creatures, ranging from orcas and crocodiles to polar bears and snow monkeys. Through her photography and the trips she leads, Joanna hopes to inspire a greater appreciation for the planet and its wild places and creatures.
